Настоящее совершенное продолженное время (Present Perfect Continuous)

The Present Perfect Continuous tense is used to describe an action that started in the past and is still continuing in the present, or an action that has just finished but whose results are visible now.

Структура (Формула образования)

This tense is formed using the auxiliary verb 'to have' in the Present Simple, the Past Participle of 'to be' (been), and the main verb with the -ing ending (Present Participle).

Formula: Subject + have/has + been + Verb-ing

Утвердительное предложение (Affirmative Sentence):
- I / You / We / They: We have been waiting for an hour.
- He / She / It: She has been studying all night.
Отрицательное предложение (Negative Sentence):
Formed by placing 'not' between have/has and been.

- Пример: He has not been working here long.
Вопросительное предложение (Interrogative Sentence):
Formed by placing have/has before the subject.

Правила употребления (Usage Rules)

Present Perfect Continuous используется в основном в двух ситуациях:

1. 1. Действие из прошлого, продолжающееся до настоящего момента

To describe an action that began at some point in the past and is still ongoing now. The focus is on the duration of the activity.

Пример: They have been living here for ten years. (Они начали десять лет назад и до сих пор здесь живут.)
Пример: I have been trying to call him since 9 a.m. (Действие (попытка позвонить) все еще происходит или только что закончилось.)

2. 2. Недавнее действие с видимым результатом в настоящем

Для описания действия, которое недавно закончилось, но доказательство или результат этого действия очевидны в настоящем.

Пример: Her eyes are red because she has been crying. (Плач (действие) закончился, но красные глаза (результат) видны.)
Пример: The street is wet. It must have been raining. (Дождь закончился, но мокрая улица — это результат.)

Слова-маркеры (Time Markers)

Это время обычно используется со следующими временными выражениями, подчеркивающими длительность:

Note: If the focus is on the quantity or number of actions completed, the Present Perfect Simple is used instead (e.g., I have read five books this month.).
